After going around with the hellos we chose to try something called the "Authority Internet". I got a ball of yarn, held one end and threw it to one of the ladies. That girl had to state who she drew as her "favorite person in charge." Then she held a piece of string and tossed it across the circle to someone else who said herand so on and so worth till everybody had had a turn and we 'd produced a giant yarn web. At the end, we explained that everybody in the community was connected like a gigantic web, coming together to work to secure us all.

If you read my last blog you'll probably keep in mind that we had some issues with our ladies being chatty and ill-mannered during story time (it doesn't assist that the Woman Scout stories aren't the most engaging stories. Fantastic artwork. Blah story). Well, after the last conference we racked our brain to find ways to help them behave. What we came up with was The Container of Regard.

When my co-leader checked out the Story "Friends Around the globe" the girls stayed up straight with their hands folded as they enjoyed me and my coins from the corner of their eyes.
